Toukley sits on the foreshores of Tuggerah Lakes and Budgewoi Lake having magnificent water views to the North and South. As well as being a popular holiday destination, it is also an important residential and business area of the Central Coast.
Toukley has a tremendous range of cafés and restaurants offering local tastes as well as international cuisine. A large supermarket, many boutique shops plus clubs and hotels and a good range of entertainment ensure the popularity of the area.
On the southern side of Toukley, Canton Beach provides an ideal location to relax with its beautiful views across the lake to The Entrance. The Lake offers many watersports (and even prawning in season). Around the edge of the lake, a popular walking and cycling path leads to play equipment, barbecue areas and a handy convenience shop. Canton Beach
is also known for several of its annualfestivals including Hot Rod displays and summer carnivals.
A boatramp is located in Osborne Park on the North side of Toukley. The Park also provides children's play equipment and a great spot for fishing. Accommodation in Toukley suits all budgets with the area catering well to those of us who love the water.
