Pelican Feeding at The Entrance
Pelican Feeding is pretty much the most popular tourist attraction on the Central Coast. It's on daily at 3.30pm every day no matter what bthe weather is like. Head to Memorial Park at The Entrance for an entertaining and educational commentary about the pelicans plus other birds and marine life in the area as well as general information on the Central Coast.

Norah Head Lighthouse Tours
Enjoy a half-hour tour of this historic lighthouse. Climb the 96 steps to the top of the tower and enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view. Learn the amazing history of shipwrecks, lighthouse keepers, grounds and flag locker. Take a walk along the rock platform below.
Tours run regularly on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 3:00pm during normal times, and on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday during school holidays. A maximum of 10 people per tour is permitted.
Prices are $10.00 for adults, $6.00 for children and concessions/seniors and $6.00 for group bookings. Family passes are available for a cost of $26.00 covering 2 adults and 2 children.

Australian Reptile Park
The Australian Reptile Park is known as "The zoo with a difference" and is home to an extensive collection of native reptiles and marsupials. Amongst them is Leonardo, the real life ‘ninja turtle’ found in a sewer in Sydney. Home also to many Australian cuddly mammals such as platypus, koalas, wombats, Tasmanian devils, echidnas, dingoes and friendly hand-reared kangaroos. This is the only place in Australia providing the opportunity for people to hold non-venomous snakes. You may also view venom extraction from snakes and spiders.

Yarramalong Macadamia Nut Farm
Yarramalong Macadamia Nut Farm is the southernmost working Macadamia nut grove in Australia and easily accessed from both Sydney and Newcastle.
The farm is on 35 acres of picturesque property much of which has a rainforest like appearance. About 15 acres are devoted to the production of nuts with around 600 trees. All processing is done on site which is unusual within the industry.

The miniature steam train is a fun filled day out for the whole family. Purchase tickets and jump aboard for the ride of your life. The train rides operate on the first Saturday of the month, 11am - 4pm. All riders must wear appropriate footwear.

About The Entrance

The Entrance Beaches
The two main beaches are The Entrance and North Entrance Beach. Both these beaches are patrolled right through Summer. Fishing is very popular with some great rock fishing spots as well as a good family location just on the northern side of The Entrance bridge.
There are plenty of things for the whole family to do with some free attractions at Memorial Park including Pelican Feeding every day at 3:30 pm, a great water playground for the kids called Vera’s Water Garden and even a giant chessboard to try out your skills. Each Saturday there are arts and crafts stalls in the Park with live concerts often on stage. The whole family will love a ride on the carousel which has been operating since 1930. Tuggerah Lakes has its own Mardi Gras Festival each year with other popular events including the Central Coast Country Music Festival and New Year's Eve fireworks.
