About Patonga
Patonga is located at the southern end of the NSW Central Coast and is a quaint little fishing village with the local fishing boats sitting just off the beach. It is a great spot for the families to swim or picnic as the beach does not have sufficient surf to be patrolled.
It is known by some as the jewel of the coast with its great friendly local atmosphere. Across from the beach is a general store, a fish shop and not too many people.
Patonga Creek is located down the southern end of Patonga Beach and is a great spot for young children to play. The local caravan and camping ground can be found by following the northern bank around to the Patonga camping area which includes electric barbecues, toilets shower, a laundry, a boat ramp and tennis courts for hire.
How to get to Patonga
Take the Gosford exit off the F3 Freeway. Follow the signs through to Kariong or Woy Woy. The signs for Patonga and Pearl Beach start appearing as you drive through Woy Woy and head toward Umina.
