Things to do:
On the edge of the adjoining wetland, the boardwalk leads to Breakfast Creek, the ideal place to drop a line over for that elusive fish . Explore the river on the two surf kayaks stored next to the board walk . Have a game or two of table tennis . It is just a short distance by car to the start of several bush walks that lead in to Dharug National Park. . Tour the Sydney hinterland & take a round trip through St Albans & Bucketty, incorporating lunch at the Settlers Arms Pub in St Albans. Maps are available at the cottage with day tours already highlighted . The Spencer Store has a great breakfast/ lunch menu for those wanting to cook as little as possible. . For a special occasion you may wish to discuss a boat trip to Peats Bite Restaurant . Book a round of golf at the Mangrove Mountain Golf Club - 9 holes of 'rugged terrain'
Getting There:
By car travel north from Sydney on the Highway 1 & F3 Freeway to Calga Interchange travelling to Central Mangrove , & then take Wisemans Ferry Rd to Spencer The return journey can then be taken in the opposite direction to Wisemans Ferry & the Old Northern Rd via Dural & Pennant Hills. The journey in both directions is particularly scenic
