EttalongBeach is a quiet little suburb sitting right on the water close to Umina.Beautiful beaches surround Ettalong offering quite a variety of watersports plus there is a bike and walking track which goes right through Ettalong and OceanBeach to Umina.

Ettalong is an Aboriginal word meaning "drinking place". European exploration of this coastal area began soon after the arrival of the First Fleet. The first European settlers were attracted by the local cedar, forest oak, blue gum and other hardwoods.
